Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of KairosCV (also referred to as "Kairos", the "platform", or the "Service"), reachable at kairoscv.com. By creating an account, accessing, or continuing to use the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What KairosCV is

KairosCV is an AI-powered career platform focused on a single core offer, Kairos Pro: an AI resume builder, ATS (Applicant Tracking System) checker, cover-letter generator, job-tailoring engine, and interview-preparation coach. KairosCV also operates a limited set of internal, invite-based career services (for example, one-on-one resume review by our team) as add-ons for existing subscribers; these add-ons are not marketed publicly and are outside the scope of the self-serve Service described here unless separately agreed with you in writing.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to create a KairosCV account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate registration information (including a valid email address) and to keep it up to date. You may not share your account, create accounts using false identities, or maintain more than one free account to circumvent usage limits or promotions.

3. Acceptable use

You agree that you will not, and will not attempt to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive purpose.
• Upload, generate, or distribute content that infringes intellectual property rights, defames others, or violates any person's privacy.
• Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service, or attempt to bypass its security or rate-limiting controls.
• Scrape, resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service or its templates and outputs at scale.
• Use the AI features to generate spam, malware, hate speech, harassment, or content that misrepresents your identity, qualifications, or credentials to a prospective employer in a fraudulent way (for example, fabricating employment history that never occurred).
• Interfere with other users' use and enjoyment of the Service.

We may investigate suspected violations and take action including warning, feature restriction, or account suspension or termination, at our discretion.

4. AI-generated content disclaimer

Kairos Pro uses third-party generative AI models to draft, rewrite, translate, and score resume and cover-letter content, and to power interview-preparation features. AI outputs are generated automatically and may contain inaccuracies, generic phrasing, or content that does not perfectly reflect your real experience. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying the truthfulness and accuracy of any AI-generated content before you submit it to an employer, recruiter, or any third party. KairosCV does not guarantee that any resume, cover letter, or application produced with the Service will result in an interview, job offer, or any particular outcome. AI-based ATS scoring is an estimate intended to help you improve your resume and is not a guarantee that any specific employer's applicant-tracking system will produce the same score.

5. Subscription, billing & manual activation

KairosCV's paid plan, Kairos Pro, is offered in Egypt at 249 EGP per month or 2,090 EGP per year (billed as a single annual payment). Unlike typical SaaS subscriptions, Kairos Pro is not billed automatically through a card on file. Instead:

1. You choose a plan and pay manually via a supported local method (for example, Vodafone Cash or InstaPay) using the payment details shown at checkout.
2. You send proof of payment to our team on WhatsApp at +20 109 899 3910.
3. Our team manually verifies the payment and activates (or renews) your Kairos Pro access on your account, typically within a short window during business hours.

Because activation and renewal are manual, your subscription does not renew automatically. Access to Pro features lasts for the period you paid for (one month or one year); if you do not send a new payment before that period ends, your account reverts to the free tier at expiry. It is your responsibility to initiate and confirm each renewal payment on time if you wish to keep uninterrupted access. Prices are shown in Egyptian Pounds (EGP) and may be updated from time to time; changes apply to future billing periods only.

6. Credits, quotas & fair use

Certain AI actions (for example, AI rewriting, tailoring to a job description, translation, or interview coaching sessions) consume a limited monthly allowance of AI credits or actions. Free accounts receive a modest monthly allowance to evaluate the Service; Kairos Pro accounts receive a substantially higher monthly allowance appropriate for active job search. Unused credits do not roll over between billing periods unless explicitly stated. We may adjust credit allowances, rate limits, or the AI models used to deliver a feature at any time, provided the overall value of your plan is not materially reduced without notice. Automated, bulk, or abusive use of AI credits (including scripting requests or sharing an account to exceed intended usage) is prohibited and may result in throttling or suspension.

7. Cancellation

You may stop using Kairos Pro at any time simply by not sending a renewal payment when your current period ends — no formal cancellation request is required, since there is no recurring auto-charge to stop. If you would like your account deactivated, your recurring renewal reminders turned off, or your account and data deleted, contact us on WhatsApp at +20 109 899 3910 or by email. Cancellation does not entitle you to a refund for the current or any past billing period; see our Refund Policy for the limited exception that applies.

8. Intellectual property

The Service — including its software, templates, designs, branding, and underlying technology — is owned by KairosCV and its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Subject to these Terms and your plan, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your personal job-search and career purposes. You retain full ownership of the resume content, personal information, and other material you create or upload. By using the Service you grant KairosCV a limited license to host, process, transmit, and display that content solely to provide the Service to you (including sending it to AI providers to generate the features you request).

9. Service availability

We work to keep KairosCV available, secure, and performant, but we do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." Planned maintenance, third-party outages (including AI-model providers or hosting infrastructure), or unforeseen issues may occasionally affect availability.

10. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service for material breach of these Terms, suspected fraud, non-payment, or abuse of AI features or credits. You may stop using the Service, or request deletion of your account, at any time by contacting us. Where reasonably practicable, we will provide a short window for you to export your resume data before permanent deletion.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, KairosCV will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, opportunities, or data, arising from your use of the Service, including reliance on AI-generated content or career outcomes. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service is capped at the amount you paid us for Kairos Pro in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold KairosCV harmless from claims, damages, and expenses arising from your content, your misuse of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.

13. Changes to the Service or these Terms

We may update the Service, its pricing, or these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service, by email, or via WhatsApp. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and the competent courts of Egypt will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service.
